"Eheä" on tehty lahonneesta kuusen kantojuurakon palasta, joka löytyi Keravalta.
Kuusen kannot lahoavat usein siten, että lopuksi niissä on vain ohut rengas kovaa puuainesta jäljellä. Tämä veistos on tästä kuusen ominaisuudesta hyvä esimerkki. Veistoksella on paksuutta yläosassa vain muutama milli. Laho on tuonut puuainekseen hienon kuvioiden ja värien kirjon.
”Whole” is made of a decayded piece of a spruce stump, found in Kerava. Spruces tend to decay so that in the end there is only a thin ring of hard wood left and this piece is a good example of the process. Up top, the sculpture is only a few millimetres thick. The decay has ornamented the surface with wonderful colours and patterns.
